Mater Dei’s sophomore-to-be tandem of quarterback JT Daniels and athlete Bru McCoy and junior-to-be receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown have been offered by USC, they announced on Twitter over the weekend.

Daniels (6-1, 196) passed for 3,042 yards and 33 TDs in a breakout freshman campaign last fall. He only was intercepted four times in 12 games.

McCoy (6-3, 205) played on the Monarchs’ freshman team last season but has racked up the offers since November, starting with Oregon.

St. Brown (6-0, 175) also has been offered recently by Kentucky. He had 22 catches for 373 yards and three TDs in eight games last season.

San Clemente senior-to-be quarterback Jack Sears has been selected to the Elite 11 at The Opening in Beaverton, Ore. in early July. He joins ex-Triton standouts Travis Wilson and Sam Darnold as Elite 11 picks.

Los Alamitos senior-to-be tight end Drew Platt (6-4, 230) has been offered by Division II Dixie State, Griffins coach Ray Fenton reports. Platt also has been offered by Northern Colorado.

Pacifica all-league defensive back/wide receiver Aundre Purnell, a class of 2016 recruit pictured above, signed with NAIA Jamestown in North Dakota, Mariners coach Vinnie Lopez reports.

Corona del Mar senior-to-be running back/linebacker Jaydin Moses has landed his first offer courtesy of San Diego, Sea Kings coach Dan O’Shea reports.

The FCS contender also has offered Laguna Hills senior-to-be wide receiver Logan Montgomery.

UC Davis has offered Montgomery and Edison senior-to-be lineman Mike Saffell.
