Orange County’s rising junior football recruits are racking up the scholarship offers, including one from the SEC that signals a national-level prospect. Here’s the latest news:

San Clemente quarterback Jack Sears has been offered by Tennessee, Tritons football coach Jaime Ortiz reports.

Corona del Mar quarterback Chase Garbers has been offered by Boise State for his first scholarship offer, Sea Kings coach Dan O’Shea said.

And Buena Park receiver/outside linebacker/tight end Taariq Johnson has been offered by Maryland as an athlete, Coyotes coach Anthony White reports.

The Coyotes’ foursome of Johnson, wide receiver Jeremiah Hawkins, offensive tackle Ryan Nelson and cornerback Elijah Gates also has been offered by Arizona State. The Sun Devils join Cal as a Pac-12 school that has offered the foursome.

Mater Dei junior wide receiver Osiris St. Brown has been offered by Stanford.
