In the CIF-SS boys basketball playoffs Tuesday night:

Division 3A quarterfinals:

Rancho Mirage 90, Ocean View 62: Charles Neal’s 26 points paced the top-seeded Rattlers (29-0), who put on a shooting clinic in the first half at Ocean View High.

Rancho Mirage led Ocean View, 54-22, at halftime.

The Seahawks (25-5) played the Rattlers evenly in the second half. Christian Anderson had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead Ocean View. Paul Head added 18 points, and Zamir Kelly had nine.

“I thought our guys played hard all the way through. It was good to see,” Seahawks co-coach Roger Holmes said. “It was a great year, and any time you win 25 games, that’s great.”

Ocean View went undefeated in the Golden West League. The Seahawks won at Servite last week to reach their first CIF quarterfinal since 2013.
