Santa Margarita quarterback Josiah Norwood, an offseason transfer from Troy, has been offered by Army, the junior announced on Twitter on Monday.
The independent is the first Division 1-A school to offer Norwood, a speedy dual-threat quarterback.
Norwood earned the Freeway League’s offensive player of the year award last season. He runs a 4.6 40-yard dash.
