Outlook: The third-seeded Wolverines make their semifinal debut against a REV program that claimed the Division 5 title last season. REV beat Claremont, 7-5, in the title game last season for its first CIF title. The Wildcats are heavy on returners from the championship team, including CIF player of the year Jared Gornay and first-team All-CIF picks Harrison Land, Maverick McMurtry and Zach Arthur. One intriguing common opponent for the teams is Costa Mesa. Aliso Niguel beat Costa Mesa, 14-11, early in the season while REV beat the Wolverines, 6-2, in the first round of the playoffs. Senior Nick Ure leads Aliso Niguel with 85 goals while goalie Evan Johnston has emerged as a solid goalie.
