Sam Darnold
San Clemente
What he did: The senior quarterback threw for five touchdowns and completed 14 of 16 passes in the Tritons’ victory.
Oscar Gomez
St. Margaret’s
What he did: The 5-foot-7 senior rushed for 271 yards and two touchdowns as the Tartans beat Whittier Christian.
Brock Johnson
Mission Viejo
What he did: The junior threw for 271 yards and three TDs as the Diablos knocked off Norco.
