There were many outstanding players on Friday night, but OCVarsity has selected these players as the ‘Stars of the Night’ for Week 1:
STARS OF THE NIGHT
ZACH TAYLOR, Buena Park
WHAT HE DID: Threw for 517 yards and and five TDs, plus ran for 40 yards and one TD.
DEVIN VELEZ, Rancho Alamitos
WHAT HE DID: QB Nick Brown (481 yards, seven TDs) found him for 171 yards, four TDs.
KJ COSTELLO, Santa Margarita
WHAT HE DID: Threw for 408 yards and four TDs, including two to Connor Bianchini.
