Kiley Neushul collected four goals and three assists and Makenzie Fischer (Laguna Beach) was one of three players with two goals as the U.S. women’s team water polo team defeated China, 14-3, in Irvine on Saturday.
Fischer’s sister, Aria, also drew three exclusions for the reigning world champions, who went 6 for 9 with the extra attacker. China went 1 for 11 on the power-play.
Team USA returns to action with a three-game series against Australia beginning Nov. 23 in La Jolla.
