Corona del Mar senior Alyaa Abdulghany posted a 3-under-par 69 during the final round of the California Women’s State Open at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon to win the inaugural SCPGA tournament by one stroke.

She opened the event with a 7-under-par 65 and from start to finish.

Abdulghany, who recently represented the United States during the Junior Ryder Cup, holed 12 birides to go along with two bogeyes and finished the 36-hole tournament with a 10-under-par 134, putting her one stroke clear of Jennifer Hahn from Henderson, Nev.
