Mooney is a senior setter for the Friars. He earned first-team all-Trinity League honors last season. He is enrolled in CP critical reflections, CP classical guitar, AP English literature, AP macroeconomics, AP physics and AP calculus. Mooney is a member of the California Scholarship Federation and participates with Her Servants Kitchen, which feeds people in need in the community. Mooney volunteers with RAD Camp, working with people with disabilities, and with TACSC (The Association of Catholic Student Councils). Mooney is undecided about college and a potential major.
