The sophomore right-hander pitched a four-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over San Clemente that was crucial to Mission Viejo’s hopes for a playoff berth and the Sea View League championship. Spillane has three consecutive shutouts in league and is 6-0 with a 1.01 ERA.
