The Estancia Frosh-Soph Invitational attracted varsity-level swimmers Saturday and the fast times followed.
Huntington Beach’s sprint-duo of sophomore Ethan Wojciechowski and freshman Natalie Crocker led the way with four meet records that were close to automatic CIF-SS Division 1 qualifying standards.
The meet features freshmen and sophomores at any level.
Wojciechowski swept the 50 (21.77 seconds) and 100-yard (season-best 47.49) freestyles, while Crocker claimed the 50 free (24.78) and the mid-distance 200 free (1:54.86) in season-best times.
The Oilers’ duo shared swimmer of the meet honors with Calvary Chapel freshman Andrew Koustik and Huntington Beach sophomore Sara Chin.
Koustik also set a pair of meet records in capturing the 200 individual medley (1:58.31) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.04) in season-best times. Chin touched first in the 100 IM (1:03.70) and 50 breast (32.27).

At the Marina Invitational:
Freshman Michelle Lee of Fairmont Prep edged freshman Madeline Wiese of Dana Hills for first place by .15 with a score of 437.55. Dana Hills freshman Jake Greenberg claimed his third meet title with a score of 518.40.
In nonleague swimming:
Saddleback Valley Christian 103, St. Margaret’s 67: Casey Cunningham won the 200 IM (2:16.82) and 500 free (5:16.28) to lead the Warriors at Capistrano Valley.
At the Jaguar Invitational:
Donny Hadden of Calvary Chapel swept the 50 (22.52) and 100 (48.29) freestyles at Segerstom. Warren’s boys and the Segerstrom girls won meet titles.
