The Diablos southpaw capped off a phenomenal junior campaign in dominant fashion. In her last two outings of the season, McQuillin totaled 29 strikeouts while surrendering only three base hits. After giving up a leadoff single to Chino in the Division 2 championship game, McQuillin went on to fan 17 batters while facing the minimum number of hitter in nine innings. The Diablos earned a 1-0 win and claimed the school’s first softball championship in the process.
