At the CIF-SS Masters Meet, McMorris was the only thrower who qualified for the CIF State Meet in both the shot put and discus. McMorris recorded a mark of 192 feet, 11 inches in the discus, which currently stands second in the state. And he posted a 58-07 in the shot put, which placed him sixth at Masters.
