The senior middle linebacker recorded a team-high 13 total tackles (seven solo) to help the undefeated Trojans post their second shutout of the season, a 28-0 victory against Estancia. Mattson has been selected University’s defensive player of the week twice. “He’s played well all season,” Trojans coach Mark Cunningham said.
