He passed for 407 yards and five touchdowns in a 63-30 win over Vista Murrieta in a CIF-SS Division 1 second-round game. The sophomore completed 25 of 43 passes. The 407 yards gave him 4,272 for the season, which is an Orange County single-season record. Daniels has 63 touchdown passes against only two interceptions. Mater Dei plays Rancho Cucamonga on Friday at Orange Coast College in a Division 1 semifinal.
