Martinez is No. 1 in her senior class academically at Santa Ana Valley. On the court she was the MVP of the Ocean View Hawk Classic earlier this season leading the Falcons to the title, averaging 23 points a game. In the classroom, she’s enrolled in AP Environmental Science, AP English Literature, AP Physics, AP Statistics and Economics. She’s extremely busy on campus, participating in several clubs like Green Club, Adopt-A-Kinder, Academic Talent Search, Falcon Mentor Program and Gay and Straight Alliance. Martinez is also a member of the California Scholarship Federation. Martinez is involved with the Illumination Foundation, helping serve the homeless population in Orange County. Martinez has also been on the Principal Honor Roll and earned Scholar Athlete honors at Santa Ana Valley. Martinez’s first choice would be to attend Gonzaga.
