Outlook: Santa Margarita is 2-0 against Tesoro this year. The Eagles have shown a proclivity to perform well in close playoff games, winning a pair of one-goal games and advancing twice on penalty kicks. A group of sophomores, which includes Chloe Boice, Dani Spensiero, Kristin Daniels and Gwyneth George, have helped propel Santa Margarita. The Titans look mainly to Skylar Smith and Ally Cook to generate their offense. Tesoro’s experience in the back needs to make sure the Titans keeps things close early. That responsibility falls to defenders Maddi Simmons and Kelsey Adair, and goalie Samantha Cude.
