The 6-foot senior forward leads the Knights in scoring at 15.9 points per game and had her highest total Saturday in an 84-51 win over Victor Valley. Maiava scored 25 points in the victory and also scored 17 in a 60-45 win over Chino Hills earlier in the week. She has scored in double digits in all but two games this season, but both were large-margin wins over Dougherty Valley and Santa Margarita.
