Scouting report: The Lions reached the semifinals last season for the first time in 28 years, and they should be one of the better teams in the reshuffled Southern Division. Westminster welcomes back 12 starters. Humberto Maciel is back at running back and will likely shoulder the load offensively. Also returning is defense tackle Steven Vu, the reigning Golden West League Defensive Player of the Year. The quarterback competition is between Matt Dinh and Lucas Goode.
