Kennedy remained undefeated in the Empire League with an 8-1 home win over Valencia on Wednesday.

The Fighting Irish are 5-0 in league and are 15-6 overall. They play league-favorite Cypress in two weeks.

Aaron Fishman pitched a complete game for Kennedy. He has pitched three complete games in three Empire League starts. Fishman is 9-1 overall.

Also in the Empire League:

No. 4 Cypress 2, Pacifica 1: Raul Salazar pitched a complete game and Dominic Fletcher homered for the visiting Centurions (17-6, 5-0) who are tied with Kennedy for first place.

Tustin 4, Western 3: Blake Akins was 2 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI for the host Tillers (13-11 overall, 3-2 league).

In the Golden West League:

Santa Ana 1, Segerstrom 0: Josue Sanchez and Andrew Vaca combined on a shutout for the host Saints (11-9, 5-5). Santa Ana and Segerstrom are tied for third place in the six-team league.

The top three finishers receive guaranteed entry into the CIF-Southern Section playoffs in six-team leagues like the Golden West League.

In the North Hills League:

Foothill 9, Villa Park 7: Drake Wood homered, doubled and drove in three runs for the host Knights (18-7, 5-2).

In the Sea View League:

Mission Viejo 9, Trabuco Hills 0: Tanner Bibee pitched a two-hitter and Zach Sanchez homered for the host Diablos (17-7-1, 4-3). Bibee is 6-0. Trabuco is in first place at 6-3.

In the South Coast League:

Capistrano Valley 4, No. 7 Tesoro 1: Connor Martin had three hits and two RBI for the host Cougars (11-15, 1-9).

In the Sunset League:

Edison 3, No. 8 Huntington Beach 2: The Chargers (11-14-1, 6-5) moved into second place. Marina, which beat Fountain Valley, 9-1, Wednesday, is in first place.

In the Trinity League:

No. 6 Santa Margarita 2, Mater Dei 1: Derek Park hit a two-run home run for the visiting Eagles (17-6, 5-3). They are tied with Orange Lutheran for second place in the Trinity League.

Servite 6, St. John Bosco 3: Tanner Smith drove in three runs for the visiting Friars (14-9, 4-5).
