A look at the league’s race for a spot in the CIF-SS playoffs and for the league title.

SEA VIEW LEAGUE (SOUTHWEST DIVISION)

*Updated, Friday*

At stake: Top two teams in league are guaranteed a playoff spot in the Southwest Division. Three at-large berths are available. Capistrano Valley earned an at-large berth in 2014.

San Clemente (8-2, 4-0): The Tritons went unbeaten in league play and should be one of the division’s top two seeded teams when brackets are released on Sunday.

Laguna Hills (7-3, 2-2): The Hawks are in as the league’s No. 2 representative following their 35-29 win over Trabuco Hills on Friday.

Trabuco Hills (3-7, 2-2): The Mustangs will have to wait until Sunday to see if they’re awarded one of the division’s three at-large berths. The Sea View League received one at-large bid in 2014.

Aliso Niguel (3-7, 1-3): The Wolverines likely saw their season end in a loss to San Clemente on Friday.

Capistrano Valley (5-5, 1-3): The Cougars have been bounced from playoff contention.
