GOLDEN WEST LEAGUE (SOUTHERN DIVISION)

At stake: Top three teams in league are guaranteed a playoff spot in the Southern Division. Two at-large berths are available. No Golden West team earned an at-large bid in 2014.
Segerstrom (7-2-1, 5-0): The Jaguars edged out Westminster, 41-38, in a double overtime thriller on Thursday to win the Golden West League championship.
Westminster (8-2, 4-1): The Lions lost a heartbreaker to Segerstrom on Thursday, but still head into the playoffs as the league’s No. 2 representative.
Santa Ana (8-2, 3-2): The Saints locked up the league’s third guaranteed playoff spot by beating Orange on Friday.
Ocean View (5-5, 2-3): The Seahawks put themselves in the at-large conversation by beating Loara in the regular season finale.
Orange (4-6, 1-4): The Panthers are out of playoff contention.
Loara (0-10, 0-5): The Saxons are out of playoff contention.
