A look at the league’s race for a spot in the CIF-SS playoffs and for the league title.

FREEWAY LEAGUE (SOUTHWEST DIVISION)

*Updated, Friday*

At stake: Top three teams in league are guaranteed a playoff spot in the Southwest Division. Three at-large berths are available. Fullerton earned an at-large berth in 2014.

La Habra (9-1, 5-0): La Habra is the league champ yet again, and quite possibly locked up the division’s No. 1 overall seed by beating Troy on Friday.

Buena Park (8-2, 4-1): The Coyotes outlasted Sonora in a Week 10 thriller, locking up the league’s No. 2 playoff bid.

Sonora (8-2, 3-2): The Raiders lost to Buena Park on Friday, but still go into the playoffs as the Freeway League’s No. 3 team.

Troy (5-5, 2-3): The Warriors lost big to La Habra on Friday, but find themselves in the discussion for an at-large berth.

Sunny Hills (5-5, 1-4): The Lancers are out of playoff contention.

Fullerton (4-5, 0-4): The Indians are out of playoff contention.
