Football teams in the Trinity League are taking their bye weeks, but Dan Albano of OCVarsity.com and Scott Barajas have been busy with their weekly podcast.
This week, they rank their top-three quarterbacks, running backs, wide receiver corps, offensive lines and defenses in the Trinity League based on nonleague performances.
Dan and Scott also hand out grades for each team and list a strength and concern going into league play Oct. 9.
The 43-minute podcast ends with short comments from Mater Dei QB JT Daniels and Monarchs coach Bruce Rollinson, who channels his Trinity League passion while discussing a penalty, “Picture that in the Trinity League. It’s over.”
