OCVarsity’s Kenny Connolly takes a final look at each league race through the Week 10 games on Friday night. He breaks down the winners of the league title and playoff spots, and how the other teams fared.

ACADEMY LEAGUE (EAST VALLEY DIVISION)

At stake: Top two teams in league are guaranteed a playoff spot in the East Valley Division. Four at-large berths are available. In 2013, the Academy League earned one of the four at-large berths (Sage Hill 5-5).

St. Margaret’s (10-0, 4-0): The Tartans finished the regular season with a perfect 10-0 clip after topping Calvary Chapel on Friday night. St. Margaret’s will likely be the East Valley Division’s top-seeded team when brackets are released on Sunday.

Brethren Christian (7-2-1, 3-1): The Warriors earned the Academy League’s second guaranteed playoff spot by defeating Crean Lutheran last week.

Crean Lutheran (6-4, 2-2): The Saints defeated Sage Hill 77-41 on Friday night, and will now wait to see if it will be named an at-large team on Sunday.

Calvary Chapel of Downey (6-4, 1-4): The Grizzlies are likely out of playoff contention.

Sage Hill (3-7, 0-4): The Lightning are out of playoff contention.
