OCVarsity’s Kenny Connolly takes a final look at each league race through the Week 10 games on Friday night. He breaks down the winners of the league title and playoff spots, and how the other teams fared.

SOUTH COAST LEAGUE (WEST VALLEY DIVISION)

At stake: Top two teams in league are guaranteed a playoff spot in the West Valley Division. Two at-large berths are available.

Mission Viejo (8-2, 4-0): The Diablos closed out its regular season with a 24-17 win over El Toro on Thursday, clinching its sixth consecutive league crown in the process. Mission Viejo has won eight straight games and its put itself in a position to possibly be named the West Valley Division’s No. 1 overall seed when playoff brackets are released.

Tesoro (8-2, 3-1): Knocking off San Juan Hills, 45-14, on Friday night allowed the Titans to clinch the South Coast League’s second guaranteed playoff spot.

El Toro (7-3, 2-2): The Chargers finished the regular season with a 35-7 win over Dana Hills on Friday. El Toro will have to wait until Sunday morning to see if it will be awarded one of the West Valley Division’s two at-large berths. El Toro has a strong case to grab one of those two bids.

San Juan Hills (4-6, 1-3): The Stallions are out of playoff contention.

Dana Hills (1-9, 0-4): The Dolphins are officially out of playoff contention.
