GIRLS TENNIS

Troy’s girls tennis team extended its winning streak in the Freeway League for another year.

By defeating Buena Park, 18-0, on Thursday, the Warriors completed another undefeated league slate. Troy has won 181 consecutive league matches dating back to 1995, Warriors coach Donna Judd said.

Judd is retiring at the end of this season, her 22nd as coach.

The Warriors finished the regular season 15-1 overall, winning their last 15 matches after dropping their season opener to Northwood.
