Boys basketball playoffs: Division 4A county breakdown
Calvary Chapel: The Eagles (13-12) have a long road trip this week. They play at third-seeded St. Joseph of Santa Maria (18-7) in the first round Wednesday. Cal Vary Chapel finished third in the six-team Orange Coast League.
Crean Lutheran: The Saints (7-15) finshed last in the Academy League with a 1-9 league record. They play at Renaissance Academy in the first round Wednesday.
Fairmont Prep: The Huskies (14-13) finished third in the San Joaquin League to take the league's final guaranteed playoff berth. They play at St. Paul of Santa Fe Springs, the No. 3 team in the Camino Real League, Wednesday in the first round.
Sage Hill: The Lightning (10-14) finished fifth in the six-team Academy League, and had to qualify for the playoffs as an at-large team. They play at Crossroads of Santa Monica (15-9) in the first round Wednesday.
St. Margaret's: The Tartans (18-8) lost only two games in the Academy League, both of them to league champion Brethren Christian. They play host to California City, an at-large team from the High Desert League, Wednesday.
