Last week, the sixth-ranked Edison boys volleyball team lost in three sets to rival Huntington Beach.

Tuesday, the Chargers (11-9, 2-1) got a bit of revenge.

Trent Williams led the Chargers with 25 kills and Kyle McCauley added 15 in the 25-22, 25-20, 28-30, 25-20 home victory over the fifth-ranked Oilers (15-7, 2-1).

The teams also met in the Orange County Championships, with the Oilers winning the best-of-three match.

Also in the Sunset League:

No. 1 Newport Harbor 3, Los Alamitos 0: Dayne Chalmers led the top-ranked Sailors with 17 kills in the 25-21, 25-19, 25-18 victory.

In the Sea View League:

Laguna Hills 3, El Toro 2: Hunter Arbuckle led the host Hawks with 18 kills and Connor Lamparter and Ethan Gant had 14 and 12, respectively in the 25-12, 25-20, 25-27, 20-25, 15-11 victory over the Chargers.

In the South Coast League:

Dana Hills 3, No. 8 San Clemente 2: The Dolphins knocked the rival Tritons, 26-24, 25-21, 15-25, 21-25, 15-12 to improve to 2-0 in league play.
