1. Mater Dei, 24-1

Katie Lou Samuelson returned from injury last week and scored 31, 29 and 32 points in wins over Santa Margarita, Orange Lutheran and Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas respectively.

2. Brea Olinda, 21-2

The Ladycats six-point win over El Dorado last Friday was the team’s first game decided by single digits since Dec. 30.

3. Troy, 17-8

The Warriors’ depth was on display last week, as four different players put up double-digit scoring efforts in wins over Sonora and Buena Park.

4. JSerra, 18-6

Coco Miller had back-to-back 21 point games against Orange Lutheran and Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Montebello over the weekend.

5. El Dorado, 18-7

Brooke Salas (24 points) went bucket-for-bucket with Reili Richardson in last Friday night’s Crestview League showdown. The six-point loss to the Ladycats means El Dorado will be battling for second place this week.

6. Foothill, 20-4

The Knights close out the season with the toughest slate of games in the county: at El Dorado today and home against Brea Olinda on Thursday.

7. Orange Lutheran, 16-8

The Lancers went 0-2 last week, falling to JSerra and Mater Dei. Junior guard Taelor Griffin did impress however with 16- and 25- point efforts along the way, however.

8. Orangewood Academy, 22-3

The Spartans stayed atop the San Joaquin League standings, surviving a 45-44 scare from Saddleback Valley Christian.

9. Fairmont Prep, 18-4

Since its five-point loss to Orangewood Academy on Jan. 31, the Huskies have rebounded with three consecutive wins coming by 39, 38 and 22 points.

10. Los Alamitos, 19-5

The Griffins clinched at least a share of the Sunset League title with a 58-51 win over Fountain Valley last Thursday. Los Al has won 11 straight games dating back to late-December.
