He pitched a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and no walks in the Sea Kings’ 4-0 win over Woodbridge in a Pacific Coast League opener. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound senior right-hander, who signed with Cal State Fullerton, is 3-0 with three complete games and a 0.67 ERA. He has 23 strikeouts with three walks in 21 innings.
