Cal Baptist University wrestling team will move the mat outdoors next month when the Lancers host Stanford in the “Take It Outside” dual match, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. on the CBU front lawn.

Assistant coach Arsen Aleksanyan said a stage is being built and seating for approximately 3,000 fans.
“This is a cool thing to do,” he said. “Only schools that can do this are on the west coast.”
The Lancers’ wrestling team have several familiar faces to county wrestling fans: Alex Anunciation (Marina), Brad Beaudette (Newport Harbor), Peter Cunningham (Calvary Chapel), David Dill (San Clemente) and Michael Villegas (Irvine).

This is the Lancers compete in Division 2. Last year the Lancers finished ranked 11th in the nation.
