As the Orange County lacrosse regular season came to an end Saturday, seeding committee meetings were held to determine the 16 playoff participants in boys and girls divisions.

Corona del Mar’s boys team, which took home the county title last season, was named the top seed. Foothill was seeded second, while St. Margaret’s and JSerra were seeded third and fourth.

In the girls bracket, Los Alamitos, which is looking to win its fifth consecutive county championship, was awarded the No. 1 seed.

The second seed was given to Aliso Niguel. Capistrano Valley and Mater Dei claimed the third and fourth seeds.

The first round of the playoffs for both boys and girls starts Tuesday. Times for each game vary.

The second round will be played Thursday. The school seeded highest in each matchup will play host in the first two rounds.

Aliso Niguel will play host to the semifinals, which will be held Saturday. The first girls semifinal will start at 1 p.m. with the second scheduled two hours later.

The boys semifinals will follow the girls matches and are scheduled for 5 and 7:15 p.m.

The Orange County finals are slated for May 8 at Mission Viejo. The girls will play at 5:15 pm., while the boys are slated to face off at 7:15 p.m.
