ANZA – Nick Shanks scored three touchdowns and quarterback George Krantz passed for three scores as St. Margaret’s defeated Hamilton of Anza, 56-14, in the first round of the East Valley Division playoffs Friday night.
The visiting Tartans (9-2) advanced to the second round, in which they will face Saddleback Valley Christian.
Krantz was 9 of 15 passing for 187 yards, and Auston Locke was his primary target, catching six passes for 136 yards and one TD. Clayton Chalmers rushed for 120 yards and two TDs.
