DIVISION 1

SANTA MARGARITA (34-4) vs. MATER DEI (34-5)

When: 8 p.m. (Televised live on Fox Sports West)

Outlook: The top two teams in the county and division have made it to the finals. They met three times during the regular season, and the Eagles won all three. Shannon Scully leads the Monarchs, but look for Natalie Berty, Kyla Waiters and Mia Tuaniga to play key roles in the match. The Eagles have swept their last three opponents (Corona del Mar, Great Oak of Temecula and Long Beach Poly). Meghan McClure had 26 kills in the Eagles’ four-set victory at Mater Dei in October. Haley Carmo, Sarah Ciszek and Abby Van Winkle will also contribute in the attack. Julianna Reisinger had 22 digs in the last match against the Monarchs. Keep an eye on the play of Mater Dei junior libero Kelsey Campeau.

DIVISION 2

VENTURA (33-2) vs. BECKMAN (25-11)

When: 2 p.m. (Streamed live on foxsports.com/west’s Prep Zone)

Outlook: This has been a special run for the Patriots. They finished third in the Pacific Coast League, losing three of four matches against the top teams in the league, Corona del Mar and Woodbridge. In the playoffs, the Patriots have lost only one set. They’ve recorded consecutive sweeps over Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, second-seeded El Dorado and Chino Hills, all league champions. Setter Kiana Isenberg runs the offense. Sophomore outside hitter Jill Schneggenburger is averaging 23 kills a match. Her older sister, Hannah, is averaging 12 kills out of the middle. Senior Sammy Slater leads top-seeded Ventura with 500 kills, Aubrey Knight (middle blocker) is second on the team with 372. Slater is headed to USC for sand volleyball. Libero Kobie Jimenez signed with UC Santa Barbara.
