The senior cornerback racked up 13 total tackles and three pass knock downs, one of which led to an interception, to help the Spartans defeat previously undefeated Valencia, 28-15, in the second round of the CIF Southwest Division playoffs.“Khalil is expected to cover the best wide receiver on every team we play and is a huge reason for our success,” Villa Park coach Dusan Ancich said. “He took away Valencia’s big play opportunities.”
