Scouting report: Coach Aron Kaye thinks his group will contend for the league title. The first obstacle will be finding a starter quarterback. Senior George Torres and junior Michael Rodriguez are battling for the spot. Running back Ronnie Trujillo nearly reached the 1,000-yard mark a year ago despite failing to play a full season. The Grizzlies dedicated themselves in the weight room during the offseason and Kaye hopes to see that work pay dividends. Both the offensive and defensive lines are strengths, with senior Jose Vera leading the offensive line and Pablo Urtiz causing havoc on defense. Jonathan Garcia and Alex Medina are key pieces on the defense. The Grizzlies missed the playoffs last year, but they have the look of a team that will geet back there this season.
