He threw for a season-high 311 yards with two touchdowns in the Diablos’ 48-20 win over San Juan Hills. Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounds senior, completed 17 of 20 passes. His first five throws were completions. Johnson was 7 for 8 in the first half, and Mission Viejo’s halftime lead was 34-0. For the season, Johnson has completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,108 yards with 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He is averaging 234 passing yards a game and 17 yards a completion.
