FAIRMONT PREP HUSKIES
Coach: Fred Romo
Last Season: 2-7, 1-4 league
Scouting report: Coach Fred Romo says he has noticed something “different” about Huskies this year. After a couple of years of growing pains, the Huskies have grown together. There are eight seniors on the roster, led by wide receiver Daniel Chatman. Chatman and junior Ramsey Glover give the Huskies a wide receiver tandem that Romo says “can jump through the roof.” Fairmont Prep should be tougher against the run, as the team worked long hours in the weight room so that they would be stronger up front.
Bottom line: The Huskies have improved with more experienced playmakers in the fold.
