At the Villa Park Classic:

No. 10 Huntington Beach 11, No. 7 San Clemente 7: Julia Rozolis-Hill scored four goals, Sydney Preston added three and Marina Hyham made 13 saves, including one against a penalty shot, to lead the host Oilers into Friday’s quarterfinals.

Huntington Beach played without Lauren Smith (ill).

Amber McCutcheon and Tera Richardson each scored three goals for the Tritons.

The Oilers play San Marcos in the quarterfinals.

Dana Hills 11, Agoura 9: Sydney Baba scored five goals and Maia Borisoff made five steals as the Dolphins upset the third-seeded team in their bracket in a first round game. El Toro beat Dana Hills, 14-5, in the second round.
