Adam Cole scored three goals to lead seven players in scoring as the Dana Hills boys water polo team hung tough in the South Coast League, defeating visiting Aliso Niguel, 10-3, on Tuesday.

The No. 10 Dolphins (3-1 in league) played without Jack McLaughlin, who suffered a concussion last week in an overtime-loss against Laguna Beach, Coach Matt Rosa said.

James Daugherty added two goals for Dana Hills, which led, 7-1, at halftime. Cole also had two assists.

Freshman goalie Justin Edward made seven saves for the Dolphins.

In another South Coast League game, El Toro defeated San Clemente, 11-8, to move to 3-0 in the Division 1 league.
