Days after signing with UCLA for football, Hulick (Esperanza) capped the week by winning the heavyweight title at Friday’s Century League finals. Hulick, who was ranked No. 2 in the county, defeated top-ranked David Trujillo (Villa Park) 3-2. He is now the top-ranked heavyweight in the county. Hulick is ranked seventh in the state in the latest state rankings.
