Hua, the co-captain of a Hawks team ranked in the top 10 in CIF-SS Division 3, has also achieved excellence in her academics and around the school community. Her current classes include: IB Honors French 4, IB Honors Calculus BC, IB/AP Biology, Honors Civics and IB Honors English 4. She is a member of the California Scholastic Federation, a board member of the school’s Green Team environmental club, and is part of the leadership class for the Model United Nations. Her potential colleges include: UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, New York University, and Boston University. She is currently considering a major in Biological Science, with an emphasis on Marine Biology and Ecology.
