He won the SCGA Southern California Regional Individual Championship in a sudden-death playoff. He tied for first with a 6-under 66 at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena and then won the first playoff hole with a par. His 66 helped Sunny Hills win the team competition at the SCGA Tournament.
