The Dolphins freshman began the season in record-setting form Saturday at the Laguna Hills Invitational. He won the freshman Division 1 race in a time of 15:58, breaking the previous freshman meet record of 15:59 set in 2000 by former Woodbridge standout Michael Haddan.
