The SoCal Giants scout team will hold tryouts for high school baseball players for the fall season on July 30-31 at Newbury Park High. Players must register at socalgiants.com if they want to try out.
Hitters report at 8:30 a.m., and pitchers at 11 a.m.
The season runs from Sept. 3 to Nov. 1. The team, managed by San Francisco Giants MLB scout Chuck Fick, will play in the Arizona Senior Fall Classic (Oct. 13-16).
