Saddleback Valley Christian scored quick and often while defeating Garey, 49-13, in a nonleague football game Friday night at Garey High in Pomona.

The Warriors (3-0) were led by senior running back Dalton Lohman, who rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on only three carries. Junior quarterback Cole Henjum passed for three touchdowns and 87 yards on five completions.

Crean Lutheran 50, California Military Institute 7: The Saints (2-2) traveled to Perris and came back with a lopsided victory over the Rough Riders (1-3).

Leading the offense was junior quarterback Gavin Folsom (5 of 11 passing for 93 yards and two touchdowns).

Windward 26, Sage Hill 22: The Lightning (1-3) fell short in its fourth-quarter comeback against the Wildcats (2-1).

DJ Henry scored on a 30-yard run and Jacob Copeland caught a 29-yard scoring pass from Caden Sheetz (235 passing yards).

Villa Park 56, Pomona 14: The Spartans (3-0) flexed their muscles in a one-sided victory over the Red Devils (2-2) at Pomona High.

Capistrano Valley 41, Castle Park 21: The Cougars (3-1) welcomed the Trojans (1-2) and took a crushing victory at Capistrano Valley High.

Westminster 28, Laguna Beach 18: In a back-and-forth contest, the Lions (3-0) kept their winning streak alive defeating the Breakers (1-3) at Laguna Beach High.

St. Paul 26, Fullerton 21: The Indians (3-1) suffered loss No. 1 to the Swordsmen (3-1) at St. Paul High in Santa Fe Springs.
