Sunny Hills 9, La Habra 8 (OT): Diana Vargas scored from 9 meters in sudden-death overtime to lift the visiting Lancers (15-6, 3-0).
La Habra led, 5-2, at halftime but Sunny Hills rallied behind five goals from Kendall Smith and 13 saves from goalie Kathy Hernandez.
Maddi Garcia made 16 saves for the Highlanders.

Troy 11, Buena Park 2: Alex Dowell scored four goals and Shannon Tully made 10 saves for the host Warriors (6-6, 3-0). Sunny Hills and Troy play for the first time Jan. 27.
