Garden Grove defeated visiting Rancho Alamitos, 7-1, on Tuesday to put Grove and Rancho into a tie for first place in the Garden Grove League. 

Both teams are 6-2 in legue. 

The Argonauts’ Caesar Valencia went 3 for 4 with three runs scored. Adrian Vazquez had three hits and drove in three runs. Nick Dodson pitched five innings to get the win and improve to 5-0. 

The two-game series resumes Friday at Rancho Alamitos.

In the Academy League: 

Sage Hill 7, St. Margaret’s 0: The Lightning have won 16 in a row. That’s the longest active winning streak in county baseball. Sage Hill is 5-0 in league (Crean Lutheran was 4-0 in the Academy going into this week). 

In the Orange Coast League: 

Calvary Chapel 3, Estancia 1: Troy Lombardo pitched a complete game for the league-leading Eagles (14-3 overall, 7-0 league). Laguna Beach is in second place at 6-1. 

Isaiah Lara, Michael Oca and Braden Wallace drove in the Calvary Chapel runs. 

In the Pacific Coast League: 

No. 7  Beckman 12, Northwood 10: Austin Schell homered and had four RBIs for the visiting Patriots (17-2 overall). 

Woodbridge 10, University 1: Jake Larson pitched five innings to get the win and contributed two hits and an RBI for the visiting Warriors. Aharon Modlin, having a terrific year, drove in three runs. 

Woodbridge is 6-2 in league, one game behind league-leading Beckman (7-1). The Warriors are 13-6 overall. 

Corona del Mar 3, Irvine 2: Evan Larsen was sharp again for the third-place Sea Kings (14-3, 5-3). He pitched a complete game. Larsen is 6-1. 

Preston Hartsell had a triple among his three hits for Corona del Mar. 

In the Trinity League: 

No. 2. Orange Lutheran 4, Servite 1: The league-leading Lancers are 4-0 in the league after the win at Hart Park. 

Zach Busalacchi contributed three hits and two RBIs for Lutheran (15-2 overall, 4-0 in league). 

The Lancers play host to Servite again today in a 7 p.m. game at Hart Park in Orange.

JSerra is one-half game behind Lutheran, at 4-1. JSerra plays Mater Dei (2-2 in league) today at 6 p.m. at JSerra.
